SONDRA
SORENSON
Hi! I'm Sondra and I am a multidisciplinary illustrator and graphic designer based in New York City. Coming from an artist's background, I have a penchant for using classic techniques and alternative approaches. I love working with my hands and combining computer renderings with traditional mediums such as drawing, painting, photography, and printmaking. Some of my favorite subjects to explore have included portraits that capture our relationship with technology; witty, well crafted typographic logos; guerrilla campaigns that engage with local community; and playful websites that push the limits of storytelling. In an ever accelerating world, my challenge is to help people reconnect by creating experiences that encourage pause and stimulate the imagination.
SERVICES
As an internationally recognized artist and designer, quality is important to me. I take great care in the craft and experience of each project. I enjoy learning and working with others to identify the core problem and developing unique, concept driven solutions that add lasting value and help businesses grow. I have a broad skillset that can translate any idea into an inspiring visual. If you like my work, or would like to talk over a concept, please don't hesitate to call or email!

FREELANCE & FUN
In the last three years I have worked as a freelance graphic designer for Chicken Jam West Productions, Chisel Industries, and Oracle.
CULLEN WADE
& THE WATERS
Album Cover Illustration
Created the cover art for the Nashville country rock band, Cullen Wade and The Waters.
The illustration was hand rendered in pencil and pen, scanned, and vectorized. The concept plays off their named punned after, “Wade in the Water,” and illustrates the album’s theme of hot, monsterous mess.
Continued work includes drum cover illustration and other merchandise.

CARBON COPY LADY is a blues tune criticising unoriginality. The concept plays off the theme of commercialization by copying Coca Cola's logo. Illustrated as ink splatter, with a carbon, dirty appearance.
CHICKEN JAM WEST
PRODUCTIONS
Logo redesign
Chicken Jam West Productions was looking for a refurbished identity with their extension to the the West Coast. The logo features their signature chicken guitar, with a groovy, psychedelic feel, and western banner. Hand sketched, illustrated, and vectorized.
